Elizabeth A. Walsh

Elizabeth A. Walsh, LCADC, LSW, MSW

People with substance use disorders can be apprehensive about speaking to a therapist. There are many reasons, such as guilt, shame, and the societal stigma that they are not worthy of help. Elizabeth’s professional goal is to educate and guide patients to live healthy lives by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment to meet, one that is comfortable, where one can speak freely and openly, gain confidence, and welcome change. Patients can achieve self-awareness, knowledge, and skills to manage their substance-use problems and related issues. Patients develop treatment plans to determine their goals and not others’ expectations.
